Bible studies

Contact the church office or see the weekly bulletin for details on any current studies which are offered according to needs and interest. Three studies are offered on a regular basis:

Welcome Class - This class led by Pastor Sid meets several times throughout the year to help those who are new understand the church's purpose, distinctions and beliefs. The class is usually 6-8 weeks long and meets on Sundays at 9:30 am starting in the Fall. You can sign up for the next class on the “connect’ tab.

Through the Bible - Every Wednesday. The goal is to read and study our way through the Bible in community and to build your confidence in God’s Word. There is no need to sign up. Come when you can or come to both in the same day!

Chronological Study - This Bible study taught by Pastor Jim (retired) provides a foundational understanding of the overall message of Scripture - from Genesis to Jesus Christ.

Women's ministries

Ladies Fellowship – This is the starting point for all women to connect with others through worship, study and making new friends. Ladies Fellowship meets every Wednesday 6:30-8 pm in the Discipleship Center during the fall and spring semesters. No need to sign up. Come when you can and be encouraged. 

Women’s Bible Studies- are offered periodically on various books of the Bible or other topics to build you in your faith. Contact the church office or see the weekly bulletin for details on any current studies.

Around the Table- For some it’s one-on-one, for others its a group experience. Reach out to Karla in the office if you are interested in connecting with other ladies in a more personal ministry setting. 

Men's ministries

Various Men's Bible Studies are held on a weekly basis for fellowship and encouragement. Contact the church office or see the weekly bulletin for details on any current groups.

The ODBC Softball Team is a great place to have fun and fellowship and get to know other men from Open Door. Click here for the softball league web site.

Living in the Light meets twice monthly to give men opportunity to share their burdens and victories in various kinds of spiritual struggles.
