Open Door is led by pastors, who are overseen by a church board.
Pastor Sid Litke and his wife Priscilla live in Port Washington where he has served at Open Door Bible Church since 1984. Pastor Sid is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. 1984). Sid strives to make God’s word practical and life-changing. He enjoys motorcycle touring in his spare time and good coffee anytime. The Litkes have six grown children.

Pastor Nate Meeks came to Open Door in 2016 from an associate pastor position in Illinois. Nate has a bachelor's degree in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute. Nate is passionate about sharing God’s love and pointing people young and old to Jesus. He and Michelle have three children in school and early adulthood. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, yard work and carpentry.

Stuart grew up at Open Door and joined the staff part-time in 2022 while continuing his schooling. Stuart assists Pastor Nate Meeks in overseeing and supporting children’s ministries. Stuart has served in youth ministry at Open Door since 2015 and now serves alongside his wife Sarah. Stuart enjoys many athletic and outdoor activities and is excited to invest spiritually in the next generation.

Jim served as our full-time associate of adult ministries pastor from 1999 – 2017. Though officially retired, Pastor Jim Engelman continues to teach Bible classes at Open Door. Jim and his wife Nora came to Port Washington after serving about 20 years as missionaries with Ethnos 360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) mostly in Indonesia. Pastor Jim enjoys gardening. Jim and Nora have four grown children.

Karla Rohman has served as church secretary and office administrator since 2020. She enjoys time away at their family cabin in northern WI and is involved in leading various women’s ministries. Karla and her husband Ken have three adult children.

Pastor Seth Meeks passed away suddenly on December 11, 2022, after being ill a few days. We will always cherish his passion for the gospel, for making disciples and his love for this church family. Seth came as youth pastor in 2005 and served as adult discipleship pastor starting in 2018. Your prayers for his wife Anya and 5 children are much appreciated.
The pastoral staff is overseen by a board of men committed as a team to leading the ministries of Open Door and fulfilling our purpose.
